In early April, a few members of the NXP Automotive R&D Center in Spain, part of MobileKnowledge, traveled to Bucharest, Romania, to take part in NXP Romania’s 25th anniversary celebration.

During the visit, the team wacthed several demos including the DSP-V one where they have contributed, engaged in technical discussions, and had the opportunity to meet colleagues from different teams face-to-face, enriching personal engagement.

One of the highlights was the CoreRide platform demo, featuring the S32N55 super-integration processor, whose firmware our team actively contributes to. Watch the demo here.

Another standout was the Multimodal Generative AI demo, which showcased a powerful AI model running locally on an edge device, processing multiple input formats like voice, text, and image, without relying on a connection to the cloud. Watch the demo here.

A keynote speech was delivered by NXP’s CEO, Kurt Sievers, focusing on the company’s vision for the future and the continued drive for innovation.

The trip was a great opportunity to bring teams together and align our efforts towards future common goals.
